"On Feb-12-10 at 09:15:26 PST, seller added the following information:

i have been informed by a fellow ebay member that this board is missing a gi joe chip. again this board is untested so i dont know if it works. please only bid knowing this board may not work. i bought a box of boards and am selling them cheap enough. you can check my feedback i am not trying to screw anyone here. i have sold boards untested that worked. you can see comments from fellow ebayers that i am not a scammer. i have no checked this board and as i have stated someone said that there is a chip missing. i dont know if he is trying to get the board cheap or what but i wanted to let bidders know. email me with questions. thanks"

HOLY CRAP!!! Now I see it!

Man, I wish I saw this thread before I bid on one of this jerk-offs auctions.

I bought a Nintendo Vs. board with 2 games on it. They had a best offer on the auction and I put in an offer and almost immediately the counter offered and I accepted.
So Thursday the board shows up, with the games installed in the board...I didn't think much of it at first until I plug in the board and get nothing. I checked all the connections and still nothing. I figured there was no way BOTH games could be bad so put them both in my known working vs. board and they worked fine. I put my known working games in the board I just got from the seller...nothing. It's bad, clearly.
So I e-mail the seller just to let them know and see what they want to do and all of a sudden I'm hit with 4 emails (through eBay) all in CAPS saying I'm accusing them of scamming, they tested it, send it all back and they'll give me my money back because they can sell the games for much more than they sold them to me and started quoting prices of what they're going to do...It was pretty wild.

I tried to clam this person down saying I didn't think they did it on purpose and that it's not that big of a deal it was only the motherboard and I'll just send it back and they can either send me another one, fix it or refund a portion of what I paid.
Sound's fair right?

Well this is what I get in return;

"THE BOARD WAS TESTED AND WORKED. THAT BOARD IS WORTH ONLY 20 DOLLARS THE GAMES ARE WORTH THE MONEY. GO AHEAD AND TRY TO DO WHAT YOU ARE TYRING TO PULL I WILL CALL THE COPS AND FILE A REPORT AND TAKE YOU TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT FOR TRYING TO STEAL GAMES FROM ME. THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN KEEP THE GAMES BUT SEND ME BOARD BACK. ARE YOU KIDDING?

So really long & crazy story short I filed a claim w/ ebay for a partial refund.
Who knows if anything will come of it but OH MAN I've never in 10+ years of using eBay run into a seller as F'd up and rude as this person.

I'd post all his/her crazy e-mail but I don't know if anyone wants to bother with that.
Just remember the name: stephaniew8761 and AVOID them like John Travolta in a steam room...unless you're into that kind of thing.
