I overpaid for a Burgertime today :) The game plays great, monitor is perfect, everything looks and plays like it was taken care of responsibly, but...the side art has a "bubble" in it. This area is approximately 3 inches round. I have used a small pin to release the air, however the side art is no longer sticky, so it just raises back up.
As I stated in the beginning, I paid a high sum, and I do not want to buy side art. Besides every other inch of the side art and cab is in great shape. Leaving it is not an option. Anybody out there have a cure for this? How the hell do I get the sticky back in there? Thanks!

You won't like this, but I would get rid of the side art and buy a stencil set. Not only will the cabinet look better, it will have more value being fully restored. Not sure how much you paid, but I would never pay a huge amount for a cab like Burgertime if the side art were an adhesive, and not painted.

I would find a way to inject glue into the bubble and then you should be able to squeegy it down. Could cut a slit with a razor blade to squeeze the excess glue out. When cutting the slit, use a black line in the graphics if one is near the bubble. It will hide the slit.

sorry to hear you paid so much for a game with repo art. No idea on how to fix your problem, but treborlicec solution makes the most sense.

One added note is be careful with messing with the side art. Not sure how it was made, but the ink could run depending on how it was made. I would ask where the previous owner where he got the art from and then ask the seller of that art what is the best way to fix it.

Thanks guys, I am going to go with a fresh stencil job. Damnit. BTW, I am not ashamed to say I paid $900. I love this game, and what's more? My wife likes it too. I have spent twice that on a firearm that she will not touch!

If you are going to pull the artwork off anyway, you might try some form of heat. I don't know that I'd use a heat gun, but maybe a moist towel and an iron to see if heating will "melt" the adhesive and activate it again....?

Please keep us updated on how it goes!

There's a possibility that if that artwork was laid down "wet" that their is still moisture in that bubble preventing it from re-adhering. I think heat is going to shrink the vinyl or at minimum make it brittle so I would avoid that if possible. I think the advise to attempt to cut a slit along a border (black if possible) is the way to go. Or turn that side away so you don't see it.
