BurgerTime Sound Help

My BurgerTime has no sound. The pods do not seem to work. Any ideas?

I'm no expert, but i'd start by checking voltages, speaker, wiring, reseat connectors/chips, volume control (clean by running lock to lock a dozen times), check voltages on the audio amp, use a logic probe and the schematics to follow the un-amplified audio signal from the amp backwards to the sound generation circuit and find where it drops off or you find it, or wire up some amplified pc speakers (or replace the audio amp) to the unamplified signal and see if its the amp or circuitry after it...
