I have a Burgertime that gives me a Ram error 14D in test mode. The 14D Ram is socketed so I removed it, cleaned it, reset the chip etc...Still get the same error. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement chip? I think the High Score Save replaces the 14D? Not sure though.

The game will also not coin up. I can get it to VERY occasionally coin up with the service switch and very occasionally from the coin mech but very rarely. When it does coin up, it plays just fine from what I can tell.

I was wondering if these two issues might be related?

Any insight and help is much appreciated.

Since it's socketed, it's worth swapping the dodgy RAM with one that tests good to check if the error follows the chip or not. The fault may not be with the RAM itself.

Thanks for the replies. I will try another chip and order the kit. I'll post back my results.

Word.

Well, I switched out the 14D with a working 2016 chip from Galaga and now Burgertime works great and coins up as it should. Just thought I'd leave the solution in case anyone stumbles upon this issue.

Matt, I just sent you a PM and an order for the Burgertime High Score/Save Kit.

Thanks again everyone for the help.
