i picked up a burgertime UR with issues today on my way home from work. this may just be a long day at work and a mildy frustrating evening getting the best of me, but i cant seem to figure out 2 problems that seem like simple fixes.

please bear with me, as some of this may sound stupid.

1.
it wont coin up. none of the coin switches or service credit button do anything, however when i unplug the harness from the coin door it adds a credit or 2 sometimes, but only just as the pins disconnect. i checked all of the plugs in the harness and it appears to make a good connection, its atleast a nice tight fit and both male and female ends look clean. if the swictches were wired backwards or something, could that make this happen? and there are no broken wires or bad connections anywhere that i can see.

2.
the monitor picture was really blurry and rolling when i got it, and adjustments didnt do a whole lot so i replaced all the caps. after the cap kit i was able to focus the picture, and get most of the colors, however alot of the screen is red, and the bad guys dont really show up, they kind of blend into the red. until i drop down pieces of the burger, then the burgers path is the normal colors with black background. is there an adjustment im missing? or would this be a graphics/board problem?

ive attached a picture of the monitor problem, and its a WG4906
any suggestions are greatly appreciated

thanks for the response. i checked the board, some of the contacts were pretty rough. i cleaned those, now the game looks and plays fine.

the ground strap to the coindoor was broken(didnt notice before because it was covered with a rubber sleeve) i replaced that, however the game still wont add credits. only when the harness is being unplugged.

any tips on how to troubleshoot this?

Disconnect the credit switches and then touch the ground wire to the credit wire. You may need a small strip of wire stripped at both ends to do it. Your switches may be stuck.

the guy told me i was the 3rd email out of ten, he called me first because he said i sounded to most serious out of all the others, and i could get there by 5. when i was checking it out, he started saying that he shoulda asked for more money, because he got even more emails after i talked to him on the phone. what i cant believe is how i cant get any interest in the games ive tried to sell on CL. i had a fully working dig dug up for $250 obo and all i got was one guy who wanted to trade me an extremely old air compressor and a tile saw (kind of random) but i did say i would look at trades. the sad thing is that the dig dug ended up getting sold for parts.

ok, the problem is resolved. thanks a ton Mitsurugi-w . one of the switches must of been stuck on, i disconnected one of the switches and now it works fine, so i just replaced the shitty switch and now both coins work. now i just need to get good at this game
