I have been having intermittent sync issues with my Burgertime, and was told that it may be the AMP connector. I am gonna order and install a new one, but I had a question. It seems that on mine there is a yellow wire that is cut and just hanging there near the bare ground wire. Anyone know where it is supposed to go? You can see it in the center, coming out of the brown rubber housing for the video wires. Thanks.

I wonder if you can tell if that yellow wire is connected to anything on the other end of that bundle of wires? It wouldn't surprise me if that was factory cut like that and goes nowhere, but like you, I'd definitely check.

That wire isn't used. Your harness came from the factory with that wire cut. If you look at the other end of the brown insulated bundle.....you'll see the other end of that wire has been cut at the insulating. (if it's not cut, let me know what/where it's going to).

That yellow wire is coming from the video harness that comes from the monitor. I can check mine and see if its cut too. I think Ed is right, probably was not used.
I might have a new molex edge connector to replace the amp connector. I will have to check and see if I have any 20 pin ones.

Cool thanks guys. I'll check to see if the other end goes anywhere. Rip, if you do have a compatible connector with pins I'll take it.

Negative on the molex with crimp pins but I do have 30 pin solder eye edge connector in stock.
I checked my machine and I replaced the original video harness when I repaired the machine. When I got it the wiring was pretty hacked.
