bunch of pins and vids in sf bay area

I Went to this guys place during CAX in July. The stuff is pretty rough. I think I still have pics that I took with my phone. PM email and I;ll send to whomever wants them

This guy formerly had a route and he is getting rid of it all. As a previous poster has stated, the games came off route and are pretty beat up. I've been there myself - his wife had opened up the shop just for me to look around one day. Good stuff has already been picked over years ago. Best thing he has in there is a Popeye and that is the one game he won't part with. Most games are non working or need boards, etc..

michael is a cool guy. I sold him one of his first games back at cax like 10 years ago.

He has been selling stuff off for a while. Looks like this might be the end..

He asked me to go visit him after cax and I forgot.. I need to call him and go see him.

His warehouse is about 10 minutes away from my house. Picked up my tron and empty Galaga cabinet from him over a year ago. Mike and his wife are very nice people. I'll probably swing by Saturday to see if the has any parts and monitors I could pickup.

Yeah he's been posting off and on for quite a while. I think there's a thread or two out there about him already somewhere.

mind if i join? seems like he wont respond with a contact number

I guess I was wrong about the bull rush. I guess I never noticed that he's posted before. Either way, good luck to those who already have contact with him. Hopefully, you can help the guy out and save some games at the same time.

guy responded and gave me his number, anyone wanna go saturday, he said that day is fine

Yeah, he just responded to me about an hour ago. Definitely project games. But decent prices and good candidates for guys with parts.

I stopped and visited Mike today (Friday) and he had people in and out of there checking out his vids and pins. He has a lot less games than he used to. I think he had about 18 uprights and about 4 cocktails left. The Gorf was in pretty good shape, needs a new PCB. He had 3 games in there that actually were working, the others are projects. I bought some misc parts from him and on the way out I was checking boxes and I scored a brand new (still in oem wrapper) Vision Pro MTG-2901 (thanks for selling it to me Mike)

I hate seeing these places go out as it's a reminder that the "Video Arcade" era is over. It's a collector/enthusiast hobby now. Mike is a great person and I'm glad to hear that he's going to stay in it as a hobby at home. He was telling me that he had over 400 machines when he had his route. Man, I can't even imagine where I would be able to place 400 machines TODAY.

Mike, good luck tomorrow..see you at CAX!

Guys, go an help Mike gid rid of his games. He has to be outta there by Monday.

Oh yea, PICs (on the monitor) or it didn't happen...
