What would a screen that is shaky mean I would have to replace what? This particular game is for sale for $475 obo and he said the monitor becomes shaky sometimes , how easy is this to fix and is it expensive? What needs replaced? Or should I stay away from cocktail tables as they are no good, throw me a bone here guy's. Jeff

I'm no tech so I can't help you with the shakey monitor but I will price police here for a second. No way would I pay anywhere near $475 for a Bump N Jump cocktail with a shakey monitor. My wife and I love the game(we have a jamma adaptor for it); but its just not worth much. I wouldn't give $100 for that whole setup. But hey, if the game means a lot to you then maybe offer him half of what he's asking...

+1. Thats more of a retail price tag for a mint machine with no issues, if you ask me. But to answer your question, it could be a number of things, hopefully something simple like a cap kit, but could also be a dying tube or a faulty power supply.

if you are going to go look at the game and haggle the price I would act like the shaky screen is almost a deal breaker. I would bet a cap kit fixes it, but I wouldn't necessarily let the guy know that. try offering $150-200 cash.

with any luck it has a g07, $38 for the full rebuild kit.

I wouldn't mind having that table, but the price is too high for me, and the drive would really suck.

it could be bad caps in the transformer, power supply board, or monitor board. Bad pots on the monitor board too. bally games sometimes have horziontal locking issues.

the worst part about cocktails is the scratches to the tempered glass and they take up lots of space..
