i just moved and during the move i found the bottom of my bump n jump to be in pretty rough shape. the wood has started to swell, a nice size of wood broke off. i have seen some posts on here where people have cut out all the bad wood and rebuilt the cab. whats the best way to go about this? bump n jump was one of the games i played all the time as a kid. i thought about parting it out but i cant give up on one of my childhood games. so before i get started i want to see where do i start? i know i have to gut the cab but im looking at replacing the whole bottom and about 1 to 2 feet from the bottom. how do i go about this do i just cut it off and start from there or do i need to take the whole cab apart ? this goes way beyond my skills but now that im retired and will have room in my garage in a few weeks i want to do this the right way. i want to be able to post on here something that people say wow great job not omg did you hack the shit out of that game lol any help would be great i have been reading a lot on here but could use a little coaching
thanks for any help on this

no not yet im waiting for a few of my strong friends to come over to move my games out of my garage and into the basement so i can start working. so right not the bump n jump is wedged in the middle of like 12 games in the garage.
