Back in May I rebuilt a 20ez and replaced nearly everything except IC601 due to the replacements not working.
Saturday I had a party and after about 3 hours of action, my rebuilt monitor went into HV shutdown. I'm not able to adjust the B+ at all, it stays at 135 ish.
Any suggestions?

I had the same issue with the Sanyo 20ez in my DK Junior.
The Q901 current limiter transistor was shorted emitter to collector. And the IC601 voltage regulator from Bob Roberts seemed to be having issues. Could not adjust the B+ more than a volt or two and was also getting flag wave.

I got lucky and found a 20ez chassis online(listed as parts chasssis), hoping the Q901 and IC601 were good. Borrowed the Q901 and IC601 from that chassis and now I have a nicely working monitor, I am able to adjust the B+ more and the flag wave is all the way gone.

I wish there was another source for the IC601s because so many have been having issues with the ones from Bob Roberts. So far I have not found a source.

I replaced Q901 when I rebuilt it. Could it have gone bad already?
This thing is making me crazy!

So I installed a new hot and IC601 and now the 5a fuse in the iso is blowing.
What the F*&%! Now what?!?!
