I am planning on picking up a couple 19" crt CGA monitors from 8-liners before they become extinct.
I bought one from him before and was happy. He offered me some great pricing if I can buy 8 or more.
He has 50 in stock.

These are used but like new condition monitors. no burn in (he uses TV tubes). He is putting
his new 8 liners chassis on them and they come with the metal frame.

I can get them for $110 shipped to NJ. You would need to pick them up at my house in Howell, NJ (Central).
He will be shipping them to me freight and I will have to pickup at a freight terminal in Newark.

Who's interested?

Thanks,

I'm interested.....

Could you also throw in a least 1 25" monitor
I am in Jersey City.

He cant really give me a break on the 25". He quoted $220 + $75 shipping
if we buy 2 or more. No much of a deal on the 25" ones.

Wow I thought people would be all over this...

I'll give it 48 hrs.. and we'll see if we can hit the 8 minimum

I'm in for 2 maybe 3.

Any more interest? I figured we'd hit 8 easily..

I have to wonder what happens in a year when the monitor supply
drys up? Will we be paying $200+ for 30 yr old 19" or buying a game
just for its monitor?

If I'm going to be in this hobby for a long time it might be wise
to pickup a bunch now. Never know if you are going to want to build
a multi-something down the road or fill out one of DPkits's replica
cabinets, or just replace a badly burned in monitor.

I'm not a huge monitor guy, but from a bunch of threads on here a tube swap and chassis repair/replacement is what I'd try first instead of having that money tied up in new monitors on a shelf. Just my $0.02! :D

The only issue is tubes are going to become harder and harder to find.

I agree. I would rather fix the monitor and reuse but what if you dont have one to fix?
