anyone know where to buy coin mech mounting studs in bulk? Bob and Happ both charge $2 for 4 and it looks like i'm going to need a bunch for my token conversion... i'd love to get 'em cheaper than that.

I'd contact Coin Mechanisms, Inc. and ask if you can buy them in bulk. I always need them myself.

I contacted them, and they said $0.12, which is far better than the $0.50 at Happ.

Anyone else interested in getting in on a buy? I figure if we can get enough people together to get 1k screws they'd be happy...

I'll take 200 to start.

So... the guy from coinmech said he'd gotten several inquiries, probably from this thread... we going to try to do a bulk buy or is everyone going individually?

One of them was me I placed an order for an up coming project I 'm getting into Problem is they are closed Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I got my order in around 2:30pm on Thursday and they said there not shipping until this Monday. They also don't take Paypal from what I have noticed and I had to transfer money to my checking account from Paypal just to make the order. Was kind of a pain in the ass but its done now.

Since their like the most inexpensive place to get these things what can you do but roll with the punches.

Besides just the mounting studs, how about also ordering the reject lever spring? Those are frequently found broken/mangled/missing/weakened.

Coin Mech part number 04050001 Operating Lever Spring

At $0.12 a piece I'd gladly go in for a hundred. I'd even throw in some additional cash for your trouble. "Your" being whomever places the order.
