I just decided I am going to build this instead of buying it. However, before I begin, I want to make sure there is no issue with the BK adapter sheet (aka everyone knows this is FUBAR but me). I am planning on using the attached sheet.

1. I assume N.C. means I should just leave these pins on the adapter not connected to ANYTHING? Just want to make sure.
2. I assume that position #1 is the internal connection on the socket (the one with the red wire in this picture).
3. How close do folks follow the wire colors when making these?

Thanks.

I just moved forward. Where were all my fancy monitor rejuv peeps??

1. I did not connect these
2. That is correct. My multimeter continuity confirmed this
3. I matched 5 of the 8 wire colors. I used different colors I had not used for the other three. I was not going to get special striped wire just for my own adapter.

Tried this out on my monitor - https://forums.arcade-museum.com/threads/nec-pwk-065-red-is-missing.499848/ - worked fine.

End thread.

Nicely done! And thanks for posting the detailed notes and pictures.
No problem.

Again, if someone is looking at my pics, NOTE that I did not follow the colors 100%. This is just a simple visual. Follow the spec sheet.
