Buggy boy aka data east Speed buggy production numbers?

I look and I look. But I can't seem to find a tag anywhere on my upright speed buggy or anything regarding the numbers online.
Did data east ever release the production number off there games? According to data easts flyer. They claim "Speed buggy's limited production run enhances your location's appeal and ensures long-term game value."

Never seen or played the game, but I have a marquee for it up in my garage - because I own a real Dune Buggy!

Tom

I never heard of the game ether until it popped up on CL one day. Looked it up on KLOV and I decided it was worth a look. I'm not much of a racing game fan but I think it's a fun game. I'm glad the game was working when I went to go look at it. The cab looks like crap on mine!

You can see this video of some one playing Buggy.

I saw Speed Buggy in at least 3 different locations BIID. The wooden "GAME OVER" sign hanging by chains in the attract mode was very clever. Aside from that, I remember the gameplay being very fun and challenging for a driver. If I had room, I'd own one.

The MAME team had this game on their "to do" list for a long time; did they ever get it running?

I'm no MAME guy but I believe on the updated versions of the Software allows the Roms to run.
