Anyone from here get it? It is now gone from CL. It was advertised in a garage sale. I think it was non- working. From the picture it seemed complete. It was in Round Rock.

it was sold. The guy posted the ad this morning at 7:42 for a garage sale. i didn't see it until 2:30 and it was already sold.

Had a 4"x4" hole cut in the front under the CP, and I've since been told that it didn't have any boards in it...

It was just a cabinet with a big hole in it...

I think it was in most of you local guys price range though...:p

I think that one was at the last Super auction. It was a turd. The hole in the front really dtracted from it. If you had the money, you could fix it but it would be cheaper in the long run to buy one already restored I think. Just my 2 cents. But what do I know?

I must confess. It was my game. Yes, it's the same turd that was at the recent Dallas Super Auctions. It has a 4" hole in the front, no board, no bezel, no controls, missing the back panel. Somebody really butchered it, although the side art isn't that bad. Initially, I thought I could restore it, but I'm finding out it's very difficult finding Tappers parts - particularily a pcb.

So, we had a neighborhood garage sale on Saturday - I thought it would be a good time to part with it. It didn't sell in the morning. In the early afternoon, my wife and I were breaking down the garage sale and she came up with the idea of putting a real beer tap system in it. And later I checked out the MAME version of Tapper - it may work until I can find a real pcb. So, I've decided to keep it and turn it into a real beer tap with a MAME version of Tapper for now.

modessit - my apologies, I think you emailed me and I told you it was sold - I guess you could say my wife bought it.

pseeds - nice to know you're in my neighborhood.

Well, sorta. He's over by the hospital and you're over by Dell Diamond.

And to PlanetC - not knowing it was empty, I might have offered less than you were asking (Paul told me he talked to you). I can fix the hole, figure out an art replacement, and wait for the proper parts to come along - if the cab is cheap enough.

I collect Budweiser stuff (not Bud Light, etc), and have a neon "Budweiser On Tap" sign that one of these would be perfect underneath....

You definitely would have offered less after seeing it (I paid $75.00 for it at the auction), and probably would have let it go for $100.00 in the morning if you had come by. I forgot to mention - someone actually cut out the word "Tapper" from the marquee. It wouldn't have looked that great under your neon sign as is.....
