Ok folks, I've been dink'n around with a badly injured Buck Rogers - Planet of Zoom upright and I'm trying to make a final descision now: Should I try to restore it as the dedicated BR it is now, spending the dough involved and trying to somehow chase down the required parts? Or should I just say "screw it" and convert it to something else, most likely a multi-game?
While I don't have the animosity many KLOVers have for the game it's not the greatest either, also it needs a new CPO, side art that may be impossible to find, it's missing the original power supply and the main PCB is suffering some kind of undefined malfunctions.
But on the other hand I hate taking something rare and "violating" it.
I guess if I wanted to be unique I could convert the cab to a Space Paranoids, the fictitious game featured in the movie Tron and was made out of a BR, someone has done up a free set of artwork and even software for it.
