So, my Pinbot developed a large bubble around "THE SUN" and somehow, also got wax trapped underneath it. Should I cut this away? If so, do I need to watch out for anything? Would the paint come up easily? What would you do?

What I have done is carefully slice away affected area with a razor blade, clean and degrease. apply a mylar patch over area.

If you do that make sure the patch you put on fits the area exactly, nothing worse than overlapping mylar.

In my opinion you remove the mylar, it's time.

You could always use a circle cutter to cut a perfect circle of mylar out
and to replace it. Probably have to level the insert since i'm betting it
is elevated. You risk paint/insert text coming up.

IMHO If you're taking off that big of a piece of mylar.. you might as well
just remove it all.. of couse thats a bigger project.

Definitely scared to remove the mylar completely, the last thing I wanna do is screw this playfield up further.
