Every game I've had since I started collecting 15 years ago has been from the years 1979-1983. Not that I didn't want a game past '83, I just wanted to create a golden age environment. Broke that rule yesterday and got a Heavy Melt Meltdown Pinball. No regrets! Heavy Metal is early 80's to me anyway.

yeah, Pinballs will do that to a room. I was thinking of the same "dilemma" in my room.

I try to keep my games pre 83 - although i've had vids post, i managed to sell them. Its not the same!

But my Pins on the other hand - they are VERy recent. I make the exception - they are worth having. Pinball has a timeless feeling to it, no matter how recent, so ultimately it just fits.

are you going to touch up the wear spots on the playfield? Never played this one, I assume the soundtrack is radical?

I'd love to touch up the wear if I get the confidence I won't make it worse.

The music is the best part. Targets and roll overs play guitar solos. The more you hit the more guitar so it gets rocking during multi ball. Here's the exact machine I traded.
