In the spirit of Phet and Vectorinvadr sharing their current layouts, I decided to pull this from Phet's thread (where it got sandwiched between Space Room and Egyptian talk ;) )and share it on its own.

It's not much to brag about, but here is my layout as it will stand for a while. Though, I'm still looking to pick up at least one more game before the end of the year (preferably a Neo Geo) to round out the game room.

From the pictures, you'll see three views: Game row on the back wall (red tent and coffee table in the center), TV/Nintendo console setup on the left wall, and futon on the right wall. It's minuscule I know, but it's cozy and a haven for me when I need some time to unwind.

TV setup with NES/Super Famicom/FC/FDS/N64 and a bunch of toys, games, magazines, etc. I also framed some signed comic books to put above the TV. Can you spy Optimus Prime?:

Wicket chillin' on the futon with Spongebob. Above the futon are some framed special edition Star Wars movie posters and those are black lights above the head rest. Just a temporary fixture as it doesn't do much against the tan colored walls. Debating whether I should paint the walls or not. It would add so much to the room though.:

That's looking good! :)

Wish I had he room to put out some of my console collection.

Wow, good eye! I wouldn't think anyone could make that one out. Fellow A's fan? :)

Ha no, I just know him from collecting cards. I could tell it was an A's player by the first pic, but I can barely make out Chavez above Prime's trailer in the second pic.

no Gamecube or Sega console love?

My lil bro took the dreamcast and saturn. Who needs a game cube when you have a wii? I have that in our main living room along with an original xbox. I also have a pc cable to hook up my netbook to the flatscreen for mame. Games all over the place. :D

I always love your pictures. You live in a very happy and colorful world - me likes! :) Nice collection of games and memorabilia!

Very nice Jess! Your console collection is sweet, I need to do something like that. I love the pic of the DK marquee, with an out of focus Mario Bros in the background. That picture is simply awesome.

Thanks guys!

Andrew, actually, the MB is not "finished" as far as restorations go. It was sitting in my garage for close to a year because I was planning on doing a full restore. After our daughter was born, that plan went out the window. I got lazy and decided to just put it back together and play it. Though, I did restore the control panel (new CPO made the cabinet look 10X better), coin doors, and cleaned the cabinet pretty well. Also dropped in a HS Save Kit, new t-molding, and new bulbs. It already had original side art only on the right side. Now, it doesn't look half bad.

Greg, my wife just got a new 35mm lens for our Nikon D60 DSLR. It takes great close-up and low light shots. Perfect for taking baby/kid portraits and arcade photos. :)
