I'm having trouble finding a direct replacement for a BR-81D (2A 100V) bridge. Can I use a 2A 600V bridge as a replacement instead?

Click to expand... you can, but digikey have this replacement for the br81d instock: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=2KBP01M-E4/51GI-ND for 88c check the packaging outlines, pin spacings and pin diameters before you buy the 600v version though just in case the legs are bigger - may have a problem fitting it through the holes if that is the case! (i havent checked the mechanical specs)
