I recently picked up an old Tron cab that was severely water damaged. It looked like it had been sitting in 12" of water for months. The entire bottom 1/3 was destroyed beyond repair.
As everyone knows, these cabinets are near impossible to find even empty at a reasonable price. After a bit of searching, I came upon a fellow KLOVer DPtwiz(Brett) who makes CNC milled replica arcade cabinets to exacting specs.

After receiving my cab this past weekend, I was absolutely blown away by the quality and attention to detail.
While picking up the cab, he was nice enough to allow me a look at his shop and explained the painstaking process required to do what he does. The entire thing was an incredible experience.

Though I didn't realize it prior, he obtains a real cabinet for each model he offers to ensure a 100% perfect replacement and will only add a cabinet to his list of replacements if he has an actual donor unit to ensure a perfect match.

After seeing the quality on the Tron cab, I decided to also order a Ms Pac replacement as mine is also beyond repair. After spending months on restoration of my Pac-Man cab(which is still unfinished), I decided to go the easy route and order a replacement from Brett to prevent the ordeal of bondoing, prep work and painting my tired Ms Pac cab only to have it look half as good as a replacement would.

Thanks again for the awesome service Brett...I can't wait to come pick up the Ms Pac when it is ready :)

Anyone considering purchase of a replacement cab from him should most definitely go for it! You will be blown away by the quality this guy puts into his work.

Even beyond the quality of work, Brett is a stand up guy. It was an absolute pleasure learning about how he does what he does. He is an absolute asset to the collector community with what he does. He barely breaks even on the cabinets he builds and it is clear he does this out of a passion for the hobby rather than for profit.

Thanks again Brett :001_sbiggrin:

I agree! His stuff is awesome and he does not make huge profits. 3 of his cabs will be in my collection and they are the nicest games I own. Cabs are perfect reproductions down to bolt holes and cuts. He also does a pretty good job on his metal and plexi work! Ie Repro DL Marquee brackets and bent plexi.

These cabs will not hurt the value of your restoration unless you have a perfect original cab needing a bit of TLC.

Brett's a good guy that ive meet on a few occasions including picking up some cabs to transport to Nebraska for a fellow KLOV'r. Would instantly have no problem buying something from him. Brett is an arcade restoration super hero!
