Had a power surge here and it sidelined my Breakout. The screen came up inverted (top was bottom, bottom was top). Attract mode worked, and the game would coin up, but the 1P and 2P starts wouldn't do anything.

Figured I'd just start something here to keep track of it this round of repairs and maybe it'll help someone else out in the future... who knows. Since some of the ICs on this boards are a little flaky (I'm looking at you 7404's...)... I have a feeling this won't be the last time I have issues with this machine... again...

Inverted screen:
Bad 7404 at E9.
Replaced it and the screen comes up the right way now.

1P/2P buttons having no effect:
Still working on this one... I haven't found anything that the two share that's bad yet. But, as of now, it's 2:30 in the morning and I'm about tired of probing. I have a feeling it's something on the /ATTRACT line, but I was getting a bit too tired to think straight.

Sidenote: I did find a neat little trick to continue a game... but as that was about 10 mins ago, I've already forgotten it. I'll recognize it when I start looking at the board again Monday. IIRC it was just shorting the ATTRACT and /ATTRACT lines... the game would just pick back up where you left off, same score and same blocks broken. Good for practice at higher levels, but that's about it.
