Breakout AND SUPER Breakout compatible in same cab?

My Breakout doesnt work. I can find a SUPER Breakout pcb, no regular.
Would the SUPER work in my cabinet?
They are both Atari, one is '76 and the other '78.
Help?
thankyou!

It will take a bit of work to make the Super work in your cab. Breakout is not wired for all of the same power that Super requires.

One solution is to wire in a switcher and modify your board but this will not be cheap if you have to pay someone else to do it.

What is wrong with your Breakout PCB?

thnx

Dont know. It has burn spots on the back side, bad. Its bubling the green backing, which is burnt brown.
The battery looks to have some leakage also. When i turn the game on, i get a white screen. If i pull the board completely and turn it on, i get the same screen.
Its like its not reading the board..or cant?
?
Marquee lights up, powers on to the white screen, and everything seems ok...but it doesnt work.

It sounds like the first thing you need to do is verify the onboard power rectifier circuit and then conduct any repairs necessary. If the board doesn't power up then it will act the same as having no board installed.

The burn spots and bubbling are not unusual and are usually caused by the rectifier circuit components getting really hot during use. Are any of the edge connector traces burnt?
