So i anticipate closing on my new home by the end of the month and i have some available $$ left over after paying my down payment. I figured i would finally celebrate my freedom so therefor Im looking to buy something nice that i can just move into my arcade collection but i have no idea what. Im looking for ideas to curve around my budget :)

With that being said, this is obviously an invitation to KLOVR's in the ohio area who are looking to sell 1/2/3 or whatever pieces of your collection. Just keep in mind im looking for pieces that are in the 7.5-10 out of 10 grade with minimum work if any to be done. :D

I have budgeted out about $1k to add to my collection. Pinballs and game ideas welcome! Just to give you an idea, most of my collection consists of the popular titles, DK, pacman, centipede, ms pacman, UMK3, Dig Dug etc.

Thanks in advance for the ideas! :)

Not to be a wet blanket but I would set that money aside in an interest earning cd and when it matures .. then get something nice and also pay a bit on the house principle. I just closed on a house also..so yeah it was tempting to splurge on something for my arcade now..but I decided to take the long view. ;)

$1K won't buy you much pinball goodness these days, but a couple of decent vids in the quality that you are looking for, sure. Good luck in your search...

Ah man....buzzkill alert!!! :D

Actually 1k towards principal would save me $4.67/month in payment so using it towards principal is a no go and well CD. I can invest that $1k and make more money on it buying projects/flippable items then what the CD will return to me. :D

Is this you first house or just a new one?

I'm all for having a crazy collection.. up to 22 games now,
but if its your first house you better save that cash for all
the crap noone thinks about when buying a first house.

Weedwacker, lawnmower, snow blower, maintenance stuff. you'll blow 1 k
in the first month easy.

Congrats to you for getting back on your feet and buying a house after your recent personal issues. Go buy 2 nice 500$ games or a couple decent games for 300$ each and take the other 100$ and go celebrate

Thanks. this is my second home purchase so I have alot of things already to furnish it. I plan on building an arcade in the 800sq ft basement but for the time being my elite games are going in the 17x24 greatroom. Half of my collection are projects so ill be completing them before I move them inside.

I did some shopping on ebay for pins and it looks like nothing.coming up in regards to nice in my area without paying 3k. :(
