My father in law gave me an older piball machine but doesn't have the key. What would be the easiest and best course of action to get in there/ I am going to order some new locks, so I could care less if the lock is destroyed. Thanks
the backbox key might be in the cash box area. So break in front first and look around before to drill out the backbox lock.
If you don't want to drill, 2 large flathead screwdrivers on both sides of the lock will get you in without too much effort. you might make a slight dent on the door frame..
We will often use a dremel and a cutoff wheel. Slice off the front of the lock. Using a screwdriver and a mallet. Give the lock a gentle tap. Usually works.
Hold the dremel very steady so not to cut into the door.
Wow... If it's a single sided key just use 2 paperclips. One to hold tension on the lock and the other to rake the tumblers. It's not hard... it just takes practice.
