Brand New NEVER USED Sega Star Trek

Like everyone else, I can't wait to see more pictures!

I owned the "Pepsi Pengo" at one time, it still had the Sega factory lock seal stickers on it, pictures are here: http://s528.photobucket.com/albums/dd327/syncbus/#!cpZZ1QQtppZZ24

I still have an Asteroids that died right after being put on location, then sat in a warehouse forever. It's absolutely perfect condition-wise and spotless inside.

Games in that condition are truly rare and beautiful to see in person; especially in contrast to the usual warehouse raid / auction / craigslist fodder.

Hey Mike where did you get that Pac Man wind chime?

Haven't had time to get pics yet, but they WILL come, I promise!

Monitor is still having issues, only half the screen worked, then it went out. The chassis is in bad shape (of all things) the pyramids were redone, but this thing is still not functioning

We got the upper half of the screen to work, but nothing on the bottom half. So, pulled the chassis again and spotted some corrosion on the top of the chassis PCB. There several transistors with copper sinks on them, looked closer at them and saw that their legs had been eaten away. Pulled them, cleaned what was left of the legs, put them back in. Fuses blew. Disconnected the 4 big transistors, fuses didn't blow. Reconnected the transistors, sparks from one of the daughter cards, fuses blew.

Fix one thing, something down the pipe breaks... But, with the top half working, me and Rob played the first games ever played on that machine... so... that's neat. Some 30'sh years later.

You guys know the rules. Pics or it didn't happen! A close up of a yoke to show off a brand new classic doesn't cut it.

Well, now that you're playing it it's used so I'll give you $400 for it delivered. :)

Several years ago, someone I knew came across a Space Fury cocktail. It had been in a warehouse since it came from the distributor. It showed up with the PCB dead. The operator never got around to fixing it and it sat there for 20 years. When picked up from the warehouse, it was totally immaculate inside and out. Another friend (tech) was able to fix the PCB. IIRC, an IC leg was out of a socket and the game came up right away with a beautiful pic on the G08. It truly was a brand new game. The coin counter had something like 99800 on it, as it had never been used. Only time I have seen anything like that.

I know the guy who used to own this. I know this is true as I seen it myself.

God bless my sister, she's just as much of a yard / estate sale junkie as I am. She found that somewhere and gave it to me.

I suspect it was more of a hand made item, like something you'd find from a do-it-yourself pottery place from back in the day. Fortunately whoever made this one took the time to painstakingly paint the maze details very well.
