It's listed for $150 on feebay...

Yes, I figured someone would have seen it already on E-Bay. Yes, its for $150. I am not sure about the brand name but I have used several of these over the years and they work just fine.

Well, I just do not feel comfortable shipping a monitor. I have done it before and its a pain in the a##. It sold on E-Bay to a guy in California who was going to cover all expenses including the professional packing company. Well it was going to be $50 just to pack it by Pak Mail then shipping from Michigan to Cali was going to be about $95 bucks. So he would have $300 into it. Thats with out me charging for my time to run that monitor all over the City.. Its no real big deal if I sell it or not. I was just kinda hoping a local would have jumped on this deal.. Oh well.

Yup

Don't blame you man..shipping monitors sucks.. Unless they are in their original packaging.. Some guys here just don't understand that it's not worth your time and effort to ship something that takes way too much time to pack and not get reimbursed for your time..

I was trying to sell a populated pinball playfield here.. Must have received 20 PMs asking me how much to ship.. It would take me hours to prep it to ship it the right way, but yet they only wanted to pay the drop it in a box and pray rate..

Hehe, but guess who would have read about himself not shipping something right.. Sometimes it's just not worth it!

But, then there is the pinball backglass i shipped to GA.. Guy stepped right up and paid over $100 to have it packed and shipped right.. Made it there in one piece!

Yup, I second that.

Shipping costs and shipping damage can nix a sale real fast.

Much safer to sell BIG parts and fragile parts locally--unless you've got a great shipper that really knows what their doing. ;)

Speaking of shipping glass, once I HAD to ship five large custom picture frames--each with custom cut glass. Long story short, a great packing job made it work. I was completely stunned all five items arrived on time, undamaged and looking great. The recipient is loving his new frames.

:)

Yes, alot of people are clueless how much effort it takes to ship a monitor/backglass etc. Then if it arrives broken then you have to deal with Pay Pal for the claim the guy took on you. In this case its a BRAND NEW monitor for $150. I cant believe the Detroit KLOVers have not jumped on this deal? Like I said no biggie it can sit until I need one again.

i would buy it in a second.
if you coukld ship it to me.
I know i live in seterling heights, mi (about 1-2 hours away)
but i cannot make the drive for like mid to late Oct.
Kids are in everything right now.
So if you want to ship i will buy it.

Not too mention......they're clueless on JUST how much shipping cost. I'll sometimes reply to a WTB post, with a very reasonable offer on what the person is looking for with shipping included......they'll counter offer a price that MIGHT cover the shipping alone. I guess they want the item for free:cool:.

The remedy for this issue is to just post the shipping cost as well and seperate from the item cost so they don't have to be so clueless.
