Bouncer Arcade

I would be up for a kick starter if we were assured of the roms getting dumped. I'm sure many more here would do the same.

Here's one more vote for being more than happy to back this provided that the ROMs are dumped and released to the public.

I've been silently watching turbosub's search and I'm pulling for him. I would absolutely donate some cash his way if/when one is ever found. It deserves to be in his hands.

Thanks for all of the support! Even if one does surface for some outrageous amount it is still a win in my book... I believe one is out there in a private collection and they know what it is, like Schusler stated there are some extremely private collectors out there (with deep pockets), they are not listed in VAPS, not active in the 'collection community', and don't feel the need to brag about their acquisitions unless it is among their tight inner circle. I had the rare opportunity to speak to one of these guys last year.

If I ever have the chance to acquire one, it is my feeling that it belongs to all of us! I would happily make the ROMS available to the community, likely I would put it in the hands of the designer 'Rob Patton'. Since Rob (and many of the ES employees) live in California they could probably could ensure it makes it to the various Arcade Game shows through out the year... Also short of a cabinet (which can be reproduced), I have all the other parts to put a game together (except ROMS).. With the ROMS I could put another one together and take it to shows in my regions and allow visits... At least that is my desired outcome...

As for the documentary, that could be fun.... Damon (AvidGeek) and I were tossing the idea around last year. I am sure I could get most of the ES guys to participate.. It really is a cool story, and in the end the story and the people behind it are probably cooler than the game itself..... Something to think about for sure...

Also I have some updates to make on my website (soon), most exciting is Rob shared his original sketches and proposal for the Bouncer....

Also +1 on this, big time, if there's anyone I know of who has EARNED having it it's him.

I think the documentary is the best route to go at this point, for one thing it's a hell of a story, and also amongst possibly shaking loose new leads it may inspire a thus unknown private collector who has one to come forward, even if anonymously, just to put us all out of our misery of thinking it may be "extinct" and is at least safely being kept by someone. You could not only make it about Bouncer but you could make it about the arcade collecting community in general and people passionately chasing long-lost grail games, but with Bouncer obviously being the main subject.

Dump question, but given the "ET dig" is there ANY possibility of finding out where they were dumped?
