Everything to make another Bouncer from scratch is out there or can be reproduced from pictures, from the boardset (same as Turbo Sub), the cabinet, and as just shown the control panel and marquee, all that's needed are those F'N ROMS, the one damn thing we CAN'T reproduce without the originals!

I'm starting to think it's gone for good :(, and that's truly a damn shame, I think of arcade games like someone's artwork and it kills me to see any of them go extinct. I think they're ALL worth preserving, especially really original ones like Bouncer. I'd be happy at this point if it's just proven one survives in the hands of a collector whom doesn't care to share the ROMs, at least I'll now it still exists and I can live without actually getting to play it.

I started off only intending to put the Bouncer scenes from Ninja 3 onto YouTube. I edited it all together then decided to set up the video with some quick commentary. Then the whole thing snowballed into another account of the info that Chris & others have pulled together. It's for sure a blatant regurgitation of that info, but I'm hoping to get the word out via YouTube to that growing segment that prefers watching a quick video to reading.

I wonder if Kickstarter could be useful in the hunt for finding this game? Exactly how I'm not sure, maybe hire a professional investigator to chase down all the leads or something? Although since there's the possibility of no payoff in the end as it's possible the game is gone for good, I don't know if that would go over well.

Also perhaps some kind of documentary on the game and the search for it would be a great way to get people looking? I think there's quite an interesting story behind it all including the huge efforts some collectors have put into finding it, it could be rather compelling like other game docs like King of Kong and High Score.

Whoever the 3rd party was that was contracted to mass produce the ROMS is all that needs to be investigated, really. It isn't that difficult to find the company that got the contract and track down the CEO. It's a matter of public record. Look up the lawsuit that made them close-up shop. Don't need a private investigator. lol

Unfortunately I think Chris/Turbosub has already tracked him down and interviewed him. He's the one who had parts and a cabinet, sold the cabinet at a garage sale, and threw the parts out.

Actually, the 3rd party that was contracted to buildout the PCB's was A-Z Electronics out of Anaheim, CA. The owner did a good job of going into hiding, but I was able to track him down after a few years. He no longer has anything, after lugging it around it ended up in the dump......

I've got a detailed brain dump of all the research and contacts that have been made, I will be sharing on my site in the near future to allow others to work on the search

Wow. That's bad news. I sure hope someone can turn up the specs for the ROMS. That's the only missing piece, correct?

Correct,

The PCB set is the exact same as 'Turbo Sub' and there are a few working sets out there, I have a control panel, marquee, pcb, I/O boards, and original power supply. The cabinet could be easily reproduced..... just need the ROM images.... :)

Damn, the "dump" piece of this story is heartbreaking. I really look forward to anything else you have to share, and again, really appreciate everything you've discovered and shared already. If by some miracle someone watches the video and contacts me with any info, you'll be the first to know.

Amazing; are your pieces the examples from the pics on ionpool, and linked here?

Awesome; I appreciate the sub. Thanks.
[On "Ninja III: The Domination"] "Fair warning, I've now watched this entire movie all the way through and it might be the worst movie I've ever seen."
Clearly he has never seen "Samurai Cop."

Yikes...then I'm afraid.
