Got it for cheap, just because I saw it, it's been sitting around a while so I grab it and go to put it in my Wii - OHHHHH no memory card. I hate shit like this. lol

You just have to beat it in one sitting. Great thread btw.
I bought Biohazard when I had a Panasonic Gamecube (best looking console IMHO!), and had to figure that out in Japanese. Bad mistake. It wasn't fun at all...need to stick with the US releases of those.
Which one? There's Zero, 1-4 and Code Veronica on Gamecube, and 4 is also available on the Wii with Wiimote controls.
When I think of Code Veronica I think of the Dreamcast.
I dunno, was the voice acting better at least? Ha.
I never played the GC version actually, did they rerecord the voice acting? Please say yes. God the original was so bad in that department.
Voice acting is better, the game is entirely re-done graphics/sound and even the progression, there's a lot of differences from the original. It's worth every penny and I urge you to pick it up, it's cheap, I paid like $8. The graphics hold up like a champ - GORGEOUS pre-rendered backgrounds and the character models are top notch.
I loved the voice acting in the original - It's horrible, but a good horrible.
The Gamecube remake is awesome although I can't play those games I get too scaredOut of all of the REs I only finished RE2.

Agreed. "DON'T......OPEN........THAT........DOOR.......!!!"
I remember reading about RE when it first came out and how everyone said to wait until the middle of the night to play it. So I rented that and a couple of other games and waited until about 1AM to start playing.
The voice acting almost killed it for me at the time, but I was laughing so whatever. I was still trying to adjust to the controls (at the time, that was really weird. Keep in mind we didn't have dualshock analog sticks yet!) when I roamed into the first doorway on the right. I pulled out my gun (I was playing as Jill) but there was nothing there so I started walking. Wehn the camera angle changed, I knew something was going to happen, but it was too late to prepare for it - those dogs jumped through the windows and and I just about shit myself trying to run away. Fortunately I think I survived and that's when I was sold on that game.
I rented it a couple more times before I finally bought my own copy. Unfortunately, I think I got the first run of it in the standard jewel case as the week prior I had still seen the long boxes everywhere. I found them a couple more times after that and always wanted to pick one up but never did (I was in middle school, I think and didn't have much of my own money).
I never got to finish it though...I made it back to the mansion with little to no ammo and those hunters just reamed me before I could make it to the next batch of waiting ammo.
I never heard of the term Long Box before now. I have Resident Evil, Krazy Ivan, Warhawk and Wipeout in the long boxes (with the plastic "treads" on the left side). I do remember that Sony initially was buying plastic cases from Sega when the PS first came out.
