And it was great! It's a 1943. 1942 had been on my list for years but I never saw a big difference between the two, other than two people can play at the same time. Haven't seen one come up except once at an auction probably 14 years ago. I know it's not a highly sought after game but I've always wanted one. I had to get a storage unit for it. Yeah....

That makes 3 units in 3 states (face palm). One unit in TN with my 33 + 2 pinball, 1 in SD with all my stuff, and now 1 in FL with one game. Geez. In order to justify paying for this 3rd one, I've got to get more machines. Yeah, more face palm.

I didn't get any. I was in such a hurry to do the deal because the storage place stayed open past closing just so I could rent a unit. Plus the guy I bought it from drove it to the unit for me. It's in okay shape. Definitely needs some love. No keys. Someone moved the power switch to the side of the machine and wired an actual light switch to the side. Yeah. Because I was in a hurry, I didn't ask for a screwdriver to open the back. It looked like that was what was holding the back door (typical). A credit button has been installed on the front. BUT, it plays and came up pretty quick after being turned on. We played it for like 30 seconds. Long enough to insure it worked. Artwork seems okay. I don't suppose there's a high score save kit for this one is there?

1943 is in my top five of favorite games. I just love the soundtrack! I REALLY wish there had been a dedicated cabinet version, but the dynamo with the kit package is still pretty nice looking. Congrats!

Nice! That's a great game, one I'd love to get someday in a dedicated kit cab.
