Not too bad considering the tests indicated this being a bad tube:
Imagine what it could do for your "good" tube.

I'm not sure how all rejuvenators work, but this one seemed fairly easy to me. It comes with a manual that walks you right through it. I used the #4 How To Use instructions which is only 4 pages. I think it took maybe 20 minutes for the whole process of rejuvenating this monitor.

Most dangerous thing would probably discharging the tube before removing the anode cup, but everyone already knows how to do that from doing cap kits ;)

awesome!!! yeah ive fixed a couplg k7000 tubes like that... i had one that was so bad the picture was just barely visible..

zapped it, to my amazement the pic was fresh and crisp!

Hmm. I've always thought the one I use at work was a 490B, but it looks nothing like yours. It says 490 on it, though. Maybe a 490A?

WOW, just a follow up on my recent purchase.

I had a Wells K7901 that I threw in my Pole Position II for a future repair project. The monitor was capped, but still had problems displaying the color red. Tried swapping transistors, pots... nothing would work. Threw the rejuvenator on there today for the heck of it and it now looks great. After two successes, I think it paid for itself already.

Now, to just get the Pole Position to stop the restarting loop problem... But that's a different day.

just keep in mind you cant save em all, but if anything its worth having one for the simple task of testin the tube, if your missing a color or have one stuck on, its a quick way to see if you have a tube issue or a chassis issue.

nothing worse than reworking a chassis only to realize the tube is krap.
