Bought a DK3 Cab

Spaeth was working on the multi-switcher to do just that. But it petered out. Someone on here has an example using a three channel switcher. But it looks like a wiring nightmare to do it.

dk3 has an edge connector.. all that is needed is to unplug the edge connector take out the board, put in the dk or jr board and then plug the connector back.

yep. And I've seen a couple people who built a shelf just inside the coin door to hold all 3 boards with the edge connector facing out. So all you have to do is power down, move the connector to the desired board and power on again.

As long as you have the cab version wired with the edge connector and not the multi-connector style cab.

That sounds like the best way to do it. I thought about something like that for my DK but it has the non-edge connector wiring (4 board set). The DK Jr. boards I have seen have both setups but DK3 has only the edge connector. I guess if I really wanted to, I could get or build the edge connector harness. My cabinet started life as a Popeye, then was a Vs. game and a DK3 (according to the serial tags on the back). When I bought it, it was a DK with no side art (but now it has some). I'm pretty happy with it. Its a great looking machine.
