I bought this broken Cruis'n World PCB off of eBay and just opened the box. The description just said "black screen" I think...just noticed what is most likely the issue being some bent/broken pins on the DSP. I was able to un-bend the pins but there are two that were broken. Pin 9 (A16 per the datasheet) actually has a bit of the leg sticking out of the package so that should be an easy repair, but I can't really tell if there's anything left to use on Pin 17 (VSs per the datasheet). I think my plan is to fix pin 9 and *try* to fix pin 17, but being as it's just a ground, would it potentially be ok if I can't connect it to the package? I see these chips for like $10 on ebay and I think it's within my skill set to replace it if need be, but I'd like to avoid that if possible. I have not tried booting it yet. Thanks! Included a pic of the broken pins...
