All this punch talk got me to thinking...You want to borrow my 3" punch? I mail it to you...(you pick up the postage on 6 lbs from 60140), you have one week to use it and mail it back to me. You lose it, you buy it (and it's real expensive). Am I off base with this or sound like a reasonable idea.

Personally I wouldnt send out my greenlee's or any tool without a deposit that would cover the cost 110 percent. 100 percent to buy a new one and another 10 percent for the hassle of having to buy a new one. I have loaned too many tools out over the years and never got them back.

Good idea but not for me. Can you imagine the crapstorm if I punch a hole 1/32" off? Better you punch your own panel.

Well, it was just an idea.

How bout I send you the panel and you punch the holes for me ;-)

I hear you on that. Its always best to have overlay in hand when doing any hole cutting since alot of repro CPO vary slighlty.

That's a very generous offer that I will take you up on the next time I need to do a metal CP! Where did you purchase that, by the way? Looks like one of those interesting, cool tools I may need to get.
