Ok so this is a new pin for me. So I'm not 100% sure what's supposed to happen, but I don't think it's working quite right.

I went into test mode and switch 67 seems to toggle just fine on the face. Looks like it's supposed to be on, on 3 of the faces, and off on the 4th. That seems to work just fine.

However it seems to get lost, or forget where it's at during play.

It should reset to the mouth at the end of a game correct?

I dont know about the switches, but it should reset to the mouth, then when you trigger that, it goes to the 2 eyes.

At least thats what mine did. Whenever the game ended, the faces would turn until it got to the one face with the hole in the mouth

If it's on the mouth, it will goto the eyes, etc..

Problem is, it doesn't always reset back to the mouth.

Another example, is say player 1, is still on the mouth, player 2 get's to the eyes.

Then player plays again, it's still on the eyes, but thinks it's on the mouth. So when you make the shot, she says now I can speak, but you also get the Partial optic link because the ball landed in the eye socket. , then it get's really confused, spits a ball out, and if you happen to make the shuttle launch ramp again before the ball drops, it rotates with a ball, and drops the ball in the pan. But it seems to go into the small wheel jackpot, and spits it back out. At least someone was thinking when they designed it, because I thought I was going to have to open it up to get the ball.

I never saw a calibration menu option, I know when you go into the motor test menu, if it thinks it needs calibrating it does.

May have a logic gate getting stuck.

Checked the relay board, the solder joints looked good, but I reflowed them anyways, and replaced the relay. No help.

It just acts like it forgets where's it's at. Like the counter, or accumulator, or what ever hold the values is corrupt.

Is there a service manual that has board schematics somewhere?

Somebody want to do me the honors and tell me what the heck BOP means.

Well I ran the motor test, and watched the face do it's thing. It would make one rev, mouth, mouth popper, eyes, eye poppers, face, then human. On the second rev, it would do mouth, no popper, eyes, eye poppers, face then mouth popper, then human. It would repeat that pattern. Every other cycle the mouth popper was screwy.

I pulled the cpu board, and reseated all the socketed chips, and gave all the plugs a good wiggle when replacing them.

So far, I've played 4 games with no problems. Face resets back to mouth stage after each game..

Now all that's left is figuring out what type of screws go where in the empty holes..
