I recently picked-up a Booze Barometer and in the process of restoring I have found that the switch is stuck open. Basically, what this means is that the game is either always on or always off. I want to either fix or replace the switch so the machine will accept nickels and automatically turn off when someone fails the test...

Does anyone know what kind of switch this is and/or where I can get one?

Thanks!!!

The switch in mine is just a standard micro-switch, nothing special. Most of the pinball suppliers have micro switches with metal arms that you can bend into shape.

Are you sure it is the switch and not the solenoid that is stuck? The solenoid is what drops the coin when the player touches the bar.

Yes, because we direct wired to test that. Is there a place online that sells the switch?

I don't think you are going to find the exact switch labeled as a Booz Barometer switch. Here is a search on Marco Specialties website. I am almost certain that it is a micro switch, not what marco labels as a sub-micro switch. If your switch is in place you can compare it to what Marco has available. If your switch is missing I can compare what is available to what I have when I get home this afternoon.
