Can anyone direct me to a web page where I can find the pinout for these bootleg PCB's? I have looked for a while and haven't turned up anything.

I am not sure those are bootlegs. They look like Taito Colony 7 boards. Taito licensed the Defender technology and modified it by putting the ROM, I/O and sound circuits on a daughterboard.

So far the pinouts that I have found for that game dont show anything about a 56pin edge connector just separate molex connectors and Only one of which seems to be on the PCB itself.

So far I haven't been able to determine the pinout. The manual on KLOV had a different top PCB than my board. All the pinouts I have found are based on that other PCB. This seems like a redesign, anyone ever come across one like this before?

Its Defense Command just really ironic that the pinout of the pads of the video where the exact same as colony 7. I was able to get video but Now I'm just going to have to figure out the rest.

I figured out all the controls and coin outputs start buttons ect. Just need the sound and I have to figure out where the monitor comes off the edge connector. After I figure out the monitor then the thing will be a lot less hacked up. I will post the pinouts once I figure out the last few things. That way someone else wont have to suffer through this like I did LOL.:D Only weird thing is when I turn it on it goes right into test mode most of the time. If I go and turn the game on and off a few time it will boot into the game. The picture also slowly degrades after a while I think this is because the RAM is getting warm. If I cool them down the problems seem to go away they must be starting to fail.

I think the only major problem is that I don't have enough buttons on my test rig for the reverse and smart bomb. Just more BS and upgrading in the near future.
