I am getting lines through the cowboys, the player one cowboy will not go up with the directional joystick and each cowboy's bullet is split into 3. Since Yeckley is so hard to get a hold of, is anyone else fixing these old B&W PCB's? Let me know, I have one to send you for repair. Thanks.

I could have a look at it if you like. The problem usually tends to be 1 of the 74153's on the daughterboard since movement and graphics are messed up

That would be awesome Matt. Do you need the power board as well or just the L-stack?

So Matt found nothing wrong with my PCB stack when he tested them in his set up, but when I got the boards back and plugged them into my cab, I have the same issues. Lines through the characters and the player one cowboy will not go up, only left or right. I don't know if he goes down, as I am at the bottom and can't go up at all to try to go down. I have followed the player 1 joystick 'up' wire (red/white) back to the edge connector and can find no breaks or shorts. Could this be a power supply issue? If so, why would it only affect the one direction?

Have you checked the grounds in your cabinet? If you were not getting good contact on them, you could get similar issues.

I would be tempted to power up the game and check the voltage at each side of your switches relative to a ground point on the board. If you can come.up with an opcode, checking the noise on the power rails would be a good idea as well.
