Boot Hill, Battlezone and Road Blasters - Massachusetts

People must be able to pick these items up themselves, I will not ship. PM me with offers, pictures will be posted when I get a chance.

Battlezone upright:
- Complete cab, boardset, harness, power supply, control panel etc, everything except for the monitor. When I tried it initially at the seller's house it was stuck in some kind of reboot loop, I have not worked on the electronics since and have disassembled everything to work on the cab. The cab has some swelling and water damage, especially along the bottom, it's fixable with some wood working, side art is near perfect but that may not survive repairing the lower half depending on how you go about it. It has the periscope shroud which is in decent shape, the control panel isn't too bad but has some rust and the controls seem ok.

Boot Hill upright:
- Everything but the monitor and back doors. Untested, it came without the monitor and had some broken components on the boardset which I have since replaced, though I have never gotten around to testing it. Cab is in decent shape (maybe a 7 or 8 out of 10), the control panel is complete although the wiring harness to it was cut by someone for some reason. The bezel has a small spot where the paint came off that should be easily fixable with some black paint from the back and is otherwise in great shape, the mirror had a corner broken off but that may not be visible when in play. The plastic background artwork is cracked into several pieces and is missing a small piece, I've started working on it and should be fixable with a little patience, there is one some piece missing but if painted right it should stand out. I started re-enforcing the bottom to take leg levelers but haven't finished that yet, I may complete that and the plastic background for a buyer depending on the price.

Road Blasters upright: (Sold)
- Was working when I first got it but after a few months it would take several tries of unplugging and replugging it to get it out of an initial boot loop, now it doesn't boot at all. I've installed an AR-III rebuild kit from Bob Roberts but that hasn't fixed the problem. Also monitor was missing red when last working so that probably needs a recapping. Cab is in solid shape although it could use a repainting since some of the vinyl has been peeled off and there is no side art, there is also a small portion of a corner missing on the front bottom. Comes with manuals.

I'm located in Whitinsville 01588, which is in southeastern Worcester county Massachusetts, again I won't ship and have no way to deliver so you must be prepared to pick them up yourself. Trades will be considered, although I'm moving and primarily interested in just selling them, also I have a walk out basement with the parking space right by the back door so picking them up should be relatively easy.

Glad the RB went to a good home, it was my first game after being out of the hobbie for a decade or so, it'll be nice to see it getting worked over and used again.

I don't think the Boot Hill will get parted out, I just don't have the heart to do that to something rare and otherwise in good shape, but damn moving and storing it is going to be a pain in the ass. :( I have a Sprint monitor I bought to put in it but that alone cost me $100+ shipping so I want to hang onto that for future restores if possible.

My brother just bought a house and may let me build a shed to keep stuff like this in his backyard as he owes me a favor or two for storing his Mustang for so long, so that'll be awesome and save me a ton on renting a storage unit, and I'll be able to rotate games at whatever appartment I end up in and keep a few in reserve. :D

Yeah... especially if someone had a spare monitor on hand. ;)

OR honestly... a TV may not look too bad either. cwales connected a color TV to his Space Invaders and said it looked great so who knows.

Does Boot Hill use a 23" monitor? I thought I read somewhere it was a 19" but I dunno.
