I repaired a hole through the front of a Pole Position II cabinet using "Bondo-Glass Reinforced Filler", which has a green color.
After a few days it just wouldn't harden. At least not on the surface. This was surprising because I had to work quickly because after adding the hardener it was becoming difficult to work with.
Even weeks afterwards the surface would feel somewhat flexible(rubbery).
I needed to go over it, so I used Elmers Wood Filler instead. Now, after three applications between sandings if you look at the surface, you can see the Bondo/Wood filler sanded smooth. It is now rock hard and ready for priming. But on the inside of the cabinet it is still somewhat rubbery after two months.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks.
