Bob Roberts hasnt recieved my payment...Does it normally take this long?

I sent payment (MO) for a G07 cap kit about a week ago. Bob says he still hasnt recieved it. I am not saying hes lying and I highly doubt he ever would. Call me paranoid, but has anyone ever encountered a delay this long?

People keep losing Money Orders that get sent to him. I'm not sure what is up with that but I think two KLOV'ers complained about that. I always send a check from my BofA bill pay service and he gets those really fast. BTW - his bad trader list still includes someone from here. Not sure what is up with that. Another person from here was on his list, but got himself off of it really fast once he was notified.

My checks always get to him in 2-3 days tops. I say yours is lost in the mail.

Send him another, I would trust him not to cash both.

The sorting machines at usps processing plants frequently rip up letters beyond recognition. Doesn't he have paypal? If not, someone should suggest it to him. So easy.

Bob knows all too well about Paypal. He won't use it in an effort to keep his prices low and to guarantee him little if any profit. It can be a bit of a hassle to send a check or money order but for the price (and the service) I don't mind at all.

poor Bob, I got a quote from him on some parts and I wound up getting them from other resources that magically popped up. :(

Bill Pay service, is that the thing that you set up with your bank account? another KLOVer I bought from works for a bank and was telling me about that. I should totally do that, cause Bob has all kinds of awesome stuff other places don't have.

Personally I think Bob does make more money than the post office. They should take a look at his operation.

I just got a cap kit the other day. Took me only 2 days to get it and 3 days for him to verify my check got there. Smooth as silk.

yeah I have been lucky too. I get my box from him in 2 days, and he gets my check in 2 days.

What exactly is billpay service and how does Bob recieve the money through it?...

I think I do know what bill pay is but how does Bob get the money?

Bill Pay is a service being provided by banks to their customers. Some banks have electronic relationships with large creditors like American Express, Department stores, Mortgage companies, etc. When you setup a creditor for one of those types of places, they money transfers electronically. If you setup one for someone like Bob that doesn't have an agreement in place with the bank, they just mail him a check. The nice thing is that it usually doesn't cost you anything (including postage) and if you have a large bank like BofA, I believe it will be mailed from a Regional location near to the recipient. BofA also provides an estimate of when the check should be there by, and they are very accurate.

So basically Bob gets a check from my bank to him that he can cash. I don't know if they use some internal bank account or if the check is on my account. It just works. :)
