Here I am, back to bother you w/another monitor question. ;) Thanks for any help in advance!

I've attached a picture of my 13" monitor inside my Nintendo DK mini.

The monitor is very sharp at upper left, but slightly blurry at lower right. Color looks good throughout, picture stable, etc.

I will check the monitor glass itself for dirt. But, if it isn't dirt, what would potentially cause this? And how would I remedy it?

Make sure that the yoke is secured and hasn't slipped down on the tube. Adjust the focus control on the flyback, see if you can get the picture to clear up.

You have taken a nice pic of a dirty monitor, and/or dirty bezel.

One word.... Windex

Hehe. Yeah, now that I reread his post, he specifically said he *didn't* check for a dirty picture tube... I thought he said he had.

Definitely check that first :)

Knock knock.

Who's there?

Idiot who didn't clean everything before looking for a technical issue.

Idiot who didn't clean everything before look...you get the idea.

Picture is perfect now and yes, this thread can and should be used against me in the future. :D
