OK, I'm about ready to throw this G07 out the window :( Anyway, had the chassis rebuilt, got it back, broken in the mail, sent it back, got it back, wouldn't stop scrolling, sent it back, guess a couple transisters got damaged, got it back, worked good for a couple days. Then it started coming up really fuzzy. Playing with the focus knob didn't do anything (well, it made it even worse if I went the other way). Eventually it would focus on its own after maybe 20 minutes, although the screen would still flicker once in awhile. A couple days ago, I took the chassis out to see if anything was loose (connectors, etc), and was careful. When I put it back in, it now looks like it's out of convergence (I think that's the right description). Here's a screenshot of the first level of DK (on a 48-in-1). You can see the 3 colors of each beam are separated. Is this a tube issue or a chassis issue? What do I need to look for? (note, the picture is focused...the Gaplus burn-in from the monitor is clear) If I take the chassis to another G07 tube, would it be possible to mess that tube? (I might take it to a friend who has some games, and see if it looks the same on his)

OK, not sure if this helps any, but when I had the chassis out, I noticed an open hole (like a missing component) next to IC501 pin 9. Looking at a schematic for a G07, it shows a diode there (although no number next to it), almost on top of capacitor C506. It has a metal shield over that area, so I couldn't see from the component side if anything was there. Is there supposed to be something there?
