Blue or gray floors for an arcade?

Looks like those would be nice and easy on the feet for marathon gaming sessions. Do you get better prices for buying, say, 400 sq. ft.?

I would go grey, personally.

Im not sure, with shipping and everything its still less than 1$ per foot. I need around 300sq ft, so Im going to ask if they give a me a deal when I start to buy. I am leaning towards all gray

here is the gray/charcoal

That stuff is great. We had a flood in my kids playroom two years ago. It ruined the carpet. Instead of putting new carpet in we put this stuff in (the multi-colored version). It is great. I wouldn't put the games on this stuff though. Just cut it around the games.

BTW, I think you can get the reversible kind with black on one side for significantly cheaper at Sam's Club.

Yeah... I don't know how durable that is going to be with games being pushed around, etc... maybe if all your games had nylon feet but steel feet will likely destroy that stuff.

Interesting though. Is that waterproof? [edit: yes... it is] That might be a good idea for the back porch where we want to put a play area for the little one.

Sliding games would destroy that stuff no matter what feet you had on them. You need to cut it around anything heavy.

It is water proof and is great for play areas. Get the multicolored stuff at Sam's.

Ill be putting the plastic sliders under all my games when I get this setup, I wont be moving them around much after I get these floors in. I only have 2 games now but Im plan on buying around 5 more plus an air hockey table within 2 months.

Yeah... that makes it a no-go for my gameroom as I am moving games around all the time. Bummer.

That said, I think I'm gunna pick some up for the back porch!

The sams club version also looks like allot cheaper material. If I move games with a dolly it wont be a problem messing them up

I tried this its a no go the games rock too much no matter if you have sliders or not they need hard surfaces. Games like DK with barrel control or raceing games with a pedal on one side are just frustrating. Buy a small test area first
