Blue died on my Vision Pro - FIXED

I just moved a 100% working Vision Pro MTG-1901CN to my Multi-Williams cab, and now the blue is completely dead. Adjusting the cutoff and gain pots on the neckboard has no effect at all. I tested the tube with my rejuvenator (good!) and tried another JAMMA board (still no blue), so I think I've isolated it to the monitor chassis.

Any tips or links to schematics for the MTG-1901CN would be much appreciated.

I also noticed that my chassis looks very similar to the one that 8liners sells for $65. Assuming I can't fix my chassis, is there anything wrong with using one from 8liners?

Thanks,
John

Once you find the schematics, swap the red or green trans into the blue's place. if correct, you will lose the red/green and the blue will be back.

The parts are usually 0.20 cents

Check the wiring to the monitor, too. I recently was testing a monitor i fixed and had no green. I was sure it was the monitor, as I knew the game board was good. After finding no problems, I figured it was the tube, so I swapped tube - same issue. then just to be sure I connected it to a known-good monitor - still no green. Traced back through my wiring harness and found the green wire had gotten pinched and cut....

Thanks for the tips guys. I'll ring out the connector and try swapping the neckboard transistors when I get home tonight.

Fixed. I connected the old monitor to retest the connector - no problem. Hooked up the Vision Pro again, and now blue is back. I assume I have a flaky JAMMA harness...next time I'll spring for a Bob Roberts.
