I have just received a semi-working BloodStorm arcade pcb in the mail today. It says "Bad Battery" on a sticker that is on the board. I looked all over and couldn't find a battery, but there is a fuse on the board.

The board takes a little while to boot, but when it does the LED blinks constantly.

It DOES work to an extent because it says press start. Basically I get access to a total of 4 screens.

[see pics]
1. First screen shown, I can press start to go to the next disclaimer screen
2. Disclaimer, does nothing. (I hold start and it resets and goes to 'video ram test')
3. Video RAM Test, Page 1. (Goes to Page 2 automatically)
4. Video RAM Test, Page 2. (Goes to next screen, the disclaimer again).
5. Disclaimer. (Can only reset to video ram tests again from here).

Also, I can get into the dipswitches to run tests.

Can anyone help me get this thing running correctly?

Disclaimer: I've never seen a BloodStorm PCB.

Is it possible the "bad battery" error is referring to a suicide battery? I've seen that kind of setup where it wipes the game program but test screens are still there.

Here is the bottom of the board (where the battery is):

Battery on bottom (there is also a fuse):

Here is the top for shits and giggles:

I have never replaced a battery, but I think that is that battery from the CPS2 stuff that I have seen modded. Any help/info is appreciated from anyone :)
