Just picked this game up and was working. However, hard drive had been moved arounf during transportation. The PCB or board is flashing #5. Does any one know what this means? Looked in manual and does not say. Sucks...my buddies wife bought this game for his birthday!

I am searching through old threads right now. You should be doing the same. Use the search option in this section and type in NFL Blitz.

If it is the HD don't fret. You can download the chd to a different hd or sd card (with an adaptor) did this to my Mace cab and it works a hell of a lot better.

Brain storming. Can anyone help

Still can not figure out. we spent most of night last night (between UFC fight) trying to figure out what is wrong with this machine. Monitor has reddish tent, no sound, no coin op sound, board is flashing the number 5 on it, and hard drive sounds like it is running (light indicator on). We have tried to insure every plug is secured. I wonder if it is the board, but how do i tell?

dont know the error message for bad / missing hard drive.
i just sold a sports station set though this week. it wouldnt boot the digit display would just cycle through a bunch of motions and eventualy displayed a # before it reset doing it all over again. turned out to be the hard drive. i could burn you one for $20 shipped however will be untested as i no longer have the boards. did a bunch for blitz last week also and they all worked on first attempt.

pp [email protected] if you want one sent out. .hope it does the trick.

Check the voltage at the hard drive it should be 5.15 volts

If your game still isn't working you probable broke the hard drive moving it they can't handle shock. Their is a guy on eBay that sells a replacement drive for $25. I buy them from him all the time.

Problem fixed

I cleaned everything and reconnected it. I also tightened the power supply wires and secured everything. Not sure which fixed it but assume it was a loose connection.

Doing it again....

Everytime I mess with the power supply, the games usually ends up working. But whenI turn it off and come back the next day it does the same thing, this time its not coming on.....
