Blitz 99 HELP PLEASE-Board the controllers are wired to..I THINK

I think that the board that the wires for my 49 way controllers is broken. The player 3 and 4 controllers have pulled o the left since I got the machine. I took the player 2 controller that works and put it in the 4 player spot. It did the same thing, so I know it is not a controller problem. I then unplugged the controller and unplugged it from the board it was directly plugged into. I turned the machine off then back on. Started a game with the player 4 spot and when it got to team select, it was doing the same thing still. This makes me believe that it is this board.
Does this sound possible?
What else could it be?
What is the name of this board?
Where can I get one?

Thanks for any help

This might be stupid ,but do you think that there is a wire somewhere that is making contact to the wire that controlls the movement left. It sounds like to me that the wire is making a contact somewhere that its sending a signal to show that the controller is being pushed left. I would trace that wire or wires and make sure it is good I would also sheck the ground wire that is associated with the left contact. It seems to me that its a wiring problem. Have you taken out a good working board from a working joystick and replaced it with the broken one? Just a thought .

I changed the joystick out with one that worked and it did the same thing. I took the wires off the joystick. I also took the wires off the board that the wires go to. I turned the machine off, then on again. With no joystick hooked up, I pushed the start button, and it was still pushing to the left. I don't have another one of these boards to swap out. I will go and check some more wires throughout and see if I can find anything else out of whack.
