Help me help me please!!! First off thank you for any help, thank you very much. I have a neotec 2501 montor in my blitz machine. When we unloaded it about a year ago I must of jarred it. The red color goes out but once on for awhile or wack it on the side it would come back. Now over time it is not coming back as often or long. I am hoping it is just a solider point that I can resolider. I just don't know where to look. I did reseat the piece ( small circuit board) that connects to the back of the tube and had no luck. Any help would be great. If pictures are needed I will upload them when I get off of work. Thank you, Troy

I'm 90% sure it's one of two things..

1. The pot that controls the red on your neck pcb is broken or the solder is loose.
2. The transistor on the neck pcb that controls red is loose or damaged.. Most of the time a bit of solder will fix it.

It could be the harness, it could be the gun in the tube is going, it could be a lot of things.. But I'd bet it's one of the two I mentioned.

I am good at soldering but a newbie when working on arcade machines. I will go ahead and order a new cap and will check out the jamma herness. I will look up what a jamma herness is before digging in. Worst case I will get back on with pictures. Thank you for leadin me in the correct direction.

i have uploaded some pictures and was wanting to know about what local413 had said "

2. The transistor on the neck pcb that controls red is loose or damaged.. The last pic is the neck board. There are controls on it for red, green, blue.. One may be loose. There are also 3 transistors on the same board.. Reflow the solder on them.

Will do thank you both for all the info after i get off of work today i will resolder and then I will turn it on and see where I am. Once again Thank you for leading the blind though this.

O BOY!!! Well I did not solider anything found connection that was lose on the broad below the neck and pushed it in and tried to turn it on and no picture or sound. All of the other lighs come on but no screen and sound. Any thought of what could of happen? I also put the broad back on the neck as well.

Damn broads! They always mess up our stuff :)

Unplug the power.. Then carefully reconnect each connector that you have touched or may have.
